Golf is the reason.

Rooted in our small community along the Paint River, the Crystal Falls Men’s Golf League brings generations together through a shared love of the game.
Crystal View Golf Course opened in 1928. The league’s surviving champion record begins with Robert Nylund in 1952, giving the men’s organization a documented history stretching back more than seven decades. Today, nearly 120 members keep that tradition moving forward.

Built by members
Elected officers and appointed volunteers organize events, establish handicaps and direct improvement projects at the course.

Ian Bender Wins the 2026 Club Championship
Ian Bender is the 2026 Crystal Falls Men’s Golf League Club Champion, finishing 45 holes at 183 (+3). Bender closed two strokes clear of runner-up Mike Peters to claim the title. Congratulations also to flight winners Mike Peters, Dan Child, Parker Sundell, Dick Mettlach Jr. and Mark Colberg.

2024 Season Ends
The season closed with a well-attended banquet, plenty of laughs and a good meal. Regular tee times ended, while members continued to enjoy the remaining fall weather.

Following the April 24 Men’s Club meeting, the Sports Schedule was approved and released for the season.

Course Opens for 2024
The course opened April 19 in great shape. The opening 4-Man Scramble was set for May 22, followed by the start of team play on May 29.
